I wanted to do this right at the start of September, but day job stuff derailed it pretty hard and now this month is almost over. Wow. I wanted to gently update that none of my adoptables are closed species now. You may create any concepts or characters inspired by them as you like as long as it isn't outright theft of someone's design. I have many reasons for doing this, but it simply comes down to the fact that I never enjoyed the gatekeeping or managing of anything. It burns me out and I think it's just unfair tbh. I have nothing against folks who want to continue making Closed Species. This is strictly a personal decision based on what I think is more fun overall! So there you have it, you can make your own Giraffaroo or Hanafudog or whatever my concepts inspired you to make. I would like to see them too btw! No need to credit me either. A lot of people are confused as to who originally created Giraffaroos. It was me! The earliest version of them can be found here:
